Brand New Truck Routine Enough?

I just got a brand new Silverado (Graystone Metallic). I had an Alero (need to change my handle) that looked good (dark green) after 5 years with the same routine I am to explain. The basic question is this; is this routine good enough. I have no doubt that there are better, but am I missing something fundemental?

1. Wash with generic car soap and water.

2. Chamios

3. AIO applied with PC (buffed of with MF towel)

4. Klasse glaze by hand with moist MF applicator.

5. Rain-X all windows (I do autoglym first with PC if there is a build up of grime)

6a. Interior plastic cleaned with diluted simple green (this one will evoke anger I'm sure)

6b. Interior plastic wiped down with STP 2000.

7. Interior windows cleaned with Stoners Invisible glass aerosol.

8. Tires treated with "tire wet".

Q1: What am I doing wrong or missing?

Q2: What do I need to change? (e.g. use armor all instead of STP)

Q3: Do you put wax on after the glaze?

I am trying to get a balance of effect vs effort. Thanks in advance.

1. NXT / GOLD CLASS soap is better

4a. Good wax for LSP

5. Front -Window / Back -Window only IMO

6a. Woolite works better

6b. 303

8. Armol All is better / STP 2000

1. i agree w/ newagain...generic soap may be too harsh and decrease your LSP's durability. go w/ Meg's Gold Class.

2. pick up a maintenance QD/protectant spray such as Duragloss Aquawax or OCW to use between waxing sessions
