Brand new to Zaino (just ordered...)

Just ordered this from Zaino distro:



Z-6

Z-5 Pro

ZFX

Z-2 Pro

Z-10

Z-8

Z-12



My car is a 2006 A4 (Dolphin Grey Metallic) *Dark Grey*. My car currently has AIO & Sourvern on her. This car is brand new and has about 2k miles on it. Just got her. I've used polishes and waxes on every other car i've owned for 3 years and I decided to give the zaino process a try.



Questions

-----------

- Is there anything else I should snag from Zaino?

- How good are their clay bars and what do you use the bar with?

- Can I use NXT Car Wash instead of Dawn to strip my wax?

- Please someone give me a process on how to use all these Zs on my paint

- What are the do's and don'ts? (Waxing = do in shade and don't get on trim/windows)

- How do I apply to paint..etc??

I can answer a few of your questions for you...



To remover old wax...First wash your car and then do an IPA wipedown



- Is there anything else I should snag from Zaino?

I would definately get some of their Z16 Tire Gloss (Also works on trim, a little bit goes a long way)...Very nice stuff! Also, the Z9 Leather Cleaner works great. You cant go wrong with Zaino! All of their products are top notch



- How good are their clay bars and what do you use the bar with?

I really like the Zaino Clay bar, I use the Zaino wash and mix it with some water to make clay bar solution



- What are the do's and don'ts? (Waxing = do in shade and don't get on trim/windows)

I put the Zaino Wax right over my windows and paint...and chrome for that matter!
 
The ZFX will go bad after 18 months so go with Z-1 polish lok instead . Use that on the first coat then after next wash use a Z polish then after next wash use Z-1 then one of the polishes you will be golden.

then every 4 months apply polish lok then a Z-2 thats it maintain with Z-8 every other wash.

That's up to you, but I would also recommend the tire/trim dressing (Z16).

Their clay is fine - not different than something like Mother's.



- Can I use NXT Car Wash instead of Dawn to strip my wax?



No. You'll need to use Dawn (one time only) or use an alcohol wipedown if you're not polishing.

Wash, claybar, Z5 Pro and/or Z2 Pro (1-3 coats) with ZFX, Z8, and done.

Do apply everything *very* sparingly. Other than that, you'll be fine.



- How do I apply to paint..etc??



I use a foam or cotton applicator with front-to-back and top-to-bottom motions.

So, are you saying I can accidently put any of the zaino products on my door trim or windows and it should whipe off fine and not stain?

Yep, any non-textured surface.
