Brand New PC - Knocking sound - Is it normal?

After having picked up a PC a little while back... I was hoping to finally get some use/practive out of it in the next few days I have off.

Tonight I took it out of it's package and for kicks fired it up... while I get the electrical whine sound that I expected... it also makes this loud "klacking" or "knocking" sounds them seems to be coming from inside.

Is this normal or did I pick up a bummed unit?

The noise is made by the plastic housing on the head of the machine. I have noticed that on some models it becomes loose if it is used at high speeds. It just becomes anoying sometimes. I never use the handle so I have gotten use to putting my hand over the plastic part and that takes care of it. Well that has been the issue in my. case
 
Mine does the same thing, it's never presented a problem to me. I just started listening to George Carlin while I was detailing, problem solved.
