Brand new interior: How to start it right so it stays that way?

Apparently my thread from the old server didn't make it over, so I'll re-ask. :)

Picking up an '06 Accord coupe in about a week and a half :yay and wondering what's best for the interior to keep it looking as brand new as the day I pick it up.

Leather: Just use something like the Lexol twins, or is there some product that is good for new leather to keep it soft and new-looking? Like Sno-Seal for boots, but for seats? :) hehehe

Carpet/mats: Scotch-guard? Or don't bother? Anything else you'd do to it right away?

All input is appreciated.

Edit: Hey! Where'd my signature go?! :image :chop

For the carpet i suggest a nice set of floor mats to start off with. the ones that hold water and dirt. Catch-All has some very nice ones. As for the Leather I use Meg's Aloe Cleaner and then Adams/CG Leather Conditioner. And for the door panels and dash i use Meg's Rubber and Vinyl Cleaner Conditioner. And then try not to eat in the vehicle.

Scotchgard on mats and carpet. Do several treatments with 12 hr cure periods. Then buy a nice carpet shampoo for that.
For leather, a conditioner or treatment or protectant regularly will be fine. Always use the least abrasive solution in each area.
