Last week I had the pleasure of working on a brand spanking new E400 sport edition in a awesome new blue metallic color. The client wanted the whole nose wrapped in Xpel Ultimate PPF including the mirrors and door sill plates on the inside and behind the door handles and top of rear bumper. My list included some correction work, wheels off coating package, glass coating and IGL Kenzo for the paint, IGL fabric coating on all the carpet including the trunk.

So before I got my hands on it it was dropped off at my buddies shop to take care of the ppf. That`s where things got interesting. He called me on the evening he received the car once he started working on it to inform me that there were tons of little white paint speckles on the paint that he couldn`t remove. So I packed up my stuff and headed over there to see whats up. I ended up have to polish them off as no other method was working. After that was done He was able to spend the weekend getting it all done. After I got my hands on it and got it polished out I noticed the ppf on the hood looked odd so I sent over some pics. For whatever reason the underside of the ppf on the hood was a hazy mess. Something we both have never seen before. At that point I wasn`t going to let that fly nor was my installer so he redid the hood and got the car back to me the next day for me to finish coating it and deliver it back to the client. For a brand new car this thing was a nightmare!

Justin, I like the action! Looks great. Did you take notice the plastic buckets match the MBz paint :)

Thanks Gents! Although I would love to take credit for the bucket method for doing wheels, I cannot. Mr. Robert Diterlizzi showed me that trick. Works like a charm.
