LEOMINSTER, Mass. - It came from the friendly skies, and caused quite a bit of damage.

Frozen waste from a jetâ€â„¢s toilet smashed onto a womanâ€â„¢s car last week, crushing part of the roof and shattering the windshield.

A Massachusetts woman says no one is willing to help her pay for the repairs, or take responsibility.

Nina Gambone says federal aviation officials determined the chunk of frozen debris came from a jetâ€â„¢s lavatory. But, a spokesman says they canâ€â„¢t do anything unless it can identify the airline responsible.

Gambone says she called her fire department in Leominster, which says they canâ€â„¢t remove the glob because it is classified as hazardous waste.

The only good news is the woman and her 13-year-old son had just left the car before it was hit.

They store it in a tank. Sometimes the "donut" that is used for a seal leaks and this is what happens. Occasionaly its much worse, on some planes due to the location of the ground access panel its injested into the engine and the damages can run in the millions.

When I started in aviation as a mechanic the worst thing you had to do was deal with a clogged toilet, turd wresting is what we called it. We used to pressurize the aircraft on the ground away from anyone and hope it pops out....... worked a few times

Lucky I worked on private jets not airliners, 300 people using one or two toilets always makes me thank god I dont work for an airline
