Boutique or HPS

Hi Guys, Since joining I have noticed people are using either OTC products or something called Boutique products.

Well , my wife shop at Boutiques and never buys any wax.

Is Boutique wax something like Bikini wax?



This is Autopia a place were we use an amazing number of initials or numbers to describe the products we use. I've stopped using Boutique products. I've started using these.



LA wax= limited availability

SLA wax= semi limited availability

HTF wax= hard to find

OOL wax= ordered on line

RHP wax= real high price

RBAHP wax= rebottled at a higher price



Well I could go on but I have to check my car. Have to see how that oven cleaner is doing on my paint.



Oh darn, I knew I should have checked the decoder ring. Then I wouldn't have though EO stood for Easy-Off !!

Good one. I honestly think we autopians could publish a webster's-sized dictionary with all our terminology; we'd have another dialect of english!!
 
For some of us it is even harder, I need to translate USA English into British English and guess at the meaning of many of the localised words

Oh, sorry I left that out. How about

HPS= high price sealant

I did see someone use the term " high end sealant" but I don't think it ever got to initials.
