Bought 2012 Civic Si...

I recently bought a 2012 civic SI. I cant decide whether to put "clear bra" on the front bumper, hood, or the whole car or even go without it. Is the clear bra look okay? Or would you rather go with a sealant and keep that gloss and luster???
 
If its your daily driver i wouldnt bother with the clear bra, but if you want it just do the front bumper. You can paint the front bumper for half the price of the clear bra install. Just my opinion though.
 
I'm a HUGE believer in clear bras. They are pricey, but if you look at repaints, they make sense to me. I also think that OEM paints jobs are usually the most durable you will get.



I would do the bumper, entire hood, front half of fenders, mirrors. If you get frisky you can do door edges and the front third of the roof - but that's me. Some cars with wide rear fenders i would do, too.
 
Depends where you live. Here, it makes sense because in the winter you're getting gravel and sand thrown at you for months. In a warm climate area where there isn't a real winter, I don't see the point as much.
