Body Shop or PDR Job?

As you can see there are 2 small dents on both sides of the corner. I would like to go though a PDR guy, but because of the crease there is a little rust so I am not sure this is an option anymore.

I have never had to use a body shop before, so I am not sure of the porcedure or what to look for, but if I go to a body shop, is there a way to blend the paint on this small area instead of painting the while side of the car? Please tell this will be under $1K

BMW btw.

I doubt that PDR could fix that properly. The location and extent of the damage would pose problems for a PDR tech. I think a good body shop is your best option.

Wow, that is way more than I expected. Is it possible to get that part fixed and the paint blended, or is that what you meant in your estimate.

Sorry for my ignorance, I am not familiar with what exactly body shops repairs consist of...

I estimated it to be between $600 -$700. That includes about 6 hours to repair the dent on the 1/4, paint the 1/4 and blend the trunk lid w/removing all moldings/trim. Based on those pictures there's no way a dent guy is taking that damage out.

I do a lot of PDR work for a Body Shop and this sounds about right.

That is a relief to hear. I was hoping it was under $1K. So what is the maximum price I should walk out of the shop after hearing?

Just got around to taking it to the dealership I work at...the last place I would go. Thought they would quote me at an awful price. Came out to $725, but $500 flat with employee discount!

Should be out by Friday!

No PDR, too rigid of sheet metal in that area. Plus or minus $600 to refinish and repair.

You'll need a quarter and a decklid done there..

The $500 was not for PDR. The body shop is going to repair the dented area and blend the paint into the side of the car. The guy I requested do it is very good, so shouldn't have a problem.
