Hey just thought this picture would be cool to share. we took this old boat its like 30 years old.. the owner said he but some wax on it everyfew years so its not that bad. we show up to it in the van and we just burst out laughing. its so horrible its funny. the whole thing is like chalk there so many patches u would think it would have sunk by now. but ok we were goin to just walk away cuz at 25 feet and we charged like 150 for it....we were thinkin way to much work for it. but we took out the buffer and some compound and did a small area and it actually looked decent. not great but it is 20 some years old. so we talk to the guy and get double what we originally asked and started goin at it. we did a compound and then some marine cleaner wax. here is a pic of it u should see the line where we did and didnt do.

pretty decent change form just compound and cleaner wax.

LOL.. i offered to detail my uncles boat, for a small price. i told him 300 for the whole boat. he burst out laughing saying that boats dont need detailing, and that im overly obsessed.

he has a huge speed boat by the way. 3 engines.

boats need detailing. me and my boss wash about 50 boats a week and got about 75 now this spring to buff the hulls and about that same amount to do the topsides after they go into the water. (we dont have time to do both in the spring) we have to get the hull done before they go into the water but then we have all summer to get the topsides done.

for washings we do all 50 on thursday and friday because most people use the boat on the weekend so it makes sense to get it done before they show up.
