BMW Mini with full wrap and carbon fibre roof.

Just had a call from a new customer wanting a full detail on his BMW Mini. The car is fully wrapped and appears to have the carbon fibre effect roof and wheel arches etc.

He says the wrap can be polished as per normal as hes used some Megs / Autoglym polish on it by hand.

I dont think the carbon fibre will be a problem as it should have a clear coat?, so low speed meduim to fine polish with the rotary.

I am just concerned with the vehicle wrap, never ever done one before.

Your advice and comments would be very welcome please on how to proceed.

Cheers from across the pond.

I am also interested in hearing how it turned out. I have dealt with multiple race cars that were wrapped and have had no luck polishing them. Although I have not had the balls to lay some M105 into a $4k-$8k wrap.

Stickers of any kind, are never meant to be ''polished".

If you end up scratching those stickers, you could be asked to pay for it.

So, pls be careful. For me, I avoid this kinda customers at all costs.

If you have a fully stickered car, and are seeking "polishing"....it sounds "funny" to me, and I would prefer to detail other more "normal" cars. Why ask for trouble, especially when the job is not a 4figure big budget job?
