BMW hints

A fellow in town saw the Cavallier after I finished it yesterday .. I got a call this morning from him asking if I would do his 2002 red BMW ( ground effects and lowered ) . This car is very well kept with the odd swirl from washing .. I haven't seen it since it is winter stored. I think it has a couple rock chips to deal with but I will let him do that .

I assume the Clay / DACP ( where needed ) / IP ( where needed ) and FP / NXT should be ok?

Anything I should know bout BMW paint?

This is making me nervous .. I usually only get my car and friends crap cars to do .. Now a BMW and a show 33 Ford coupe ( Blown 383 stroker ). I don't charge for this .. more just have them replace product .. Like one is going to get me DACP which is $30 up here etc. I do it cuz I enjoy it .. and I have a real job .. ;)

I have done more BMW's than any other car by far! There is nothing that you need to do differently. They don't have really hard CC's like Audi's so defect removal is pretty straight forward.

Ty for the reply .. VW like Audi has hard CC so I should be ok .. I deal with mine .

Although I have heard different comments made about BMW paint I have also never noticed any difference either. You should really just do what you normally do and you should be fine.
