Ciao Ragazzi,

I'm about to take delivery of a new '02 F-150 in about one week, and was wonderin' how long I need to wait for th epaint to cure, etc., before I can use my clay bar, Klasse twins, and carnauba topper. The search function didn't seem to work for this subject. I've read many contradictory things regarding this subject (from don't wait at all to wait >2 months), so I'd like to hear the "expert" opinions. Thanks much!

You can apply Klasse or whatever right after you take delivery. The paint is baked at the factory so it's perfectly "cured" when you pick up the truck, no need to wait.

Thanks S-Room. It's amazing how many diffrent schools of thought there are (on any subject). I just want the best for my truck. Now if only the water ban goes away...

Do you have any experience with Eimann Fabrik Powerwash?

Do you have any experience with Eimann Fabrik Powerwash?</blockquote>

I certianly do. It's a very good wash, but it's stronger than most conventional car washes. Power Wash has twice the amount of detergents in it. I use it for my winter wash for removing all the crud and grime that comes with winter driving. Overall is an excellent wash. :up

Definitely a BMW event...
