BMW and Toyota

Tex Star Detail

Formerly TexasTB
Well, here are 2 more that I worked on. Did them the day before yesterday.
The Toyota was a full detail and the BMW was a wash and wax.

I only have these 2 before pics, as I deleted the others from my camers while I was burning them to CD. :wall :wall :wall :wall :wall

The Toyota was FULL of dog hair. Minor stains and dirt inside. Not a bad truck, but bad enough.

I loved the outcome of this truck. I wish I had the picks to show it too.

Next was the BMW. It was a wash and wax. Very poor condition inside. Not taken care of very well. (a doctors car at that) Black interior w/leather. I did a few extras to try to spruce it up, since I had another hour before she picked it up.

I had a 45 minute delay because of rain. After that, the sun came out and it got humid as heck. At the end of the day, I had another Toyota pull up. SAME Type of SUV, color, trim, year, everything.....ironic. I just did a quick wash and vac. I wanted to get pics of both truck together and start a thread...'The Toyota Twins":D

QEW.......same as Optimums No Rinse?

If so...how much water do you use on a car?
Guess I'm wondering why you have a tank.

Just a guess but sometimes QEW is easier and faster and does just as good a job as a full wash. I would think that it depends on the condition of the vehicle.

Exactly Kirk. It is better for me to use it here in Texas under the sun. I use my washer for rims, tires, and engines. It is also easier to blast out the wheel wells. On occasion, I do a regular wash with Megs NXT wash for the cars that are a bit too dirty for QEW. I have to keep the washer running and on the car to keep it from drying too fast.

I use only 10 gallons MAX when I use QEW. One wash bucket and one rinse bucket. I'll use about another 5 on the wheels with the washer.
