BMW 5 series

This guy and his "Buddy" polished the car with a rotary .. then paid me to work 6 hours to correct the mess .... lesson .. if ya don't know how to use one .. don't



Process;

1) DACP on a cutting pad on the hood / trunk / tops of doors

2) #80 Speed Glaze / polishing pad over complete car.

3) Glanze wax

Nice outcome, would like to see some full sun shots . I learned the hard way about rotaries and BMW paint, had one with really bad scratches, used Powergloss and a wool pad on it, spent all friggin day taking out the rotary marks. The last generation of 5-series were truly beautiful cars too, too bad Bangle gave the new ones the downs sydrome headlight treatment.

The sun was on the passenger side of the car and behind 2 buildings so the above is the best I could do .. Trust me its swirl free.



I owned a black Passat ( Hard paint ) I know how to do it ..

It didnt burn throught the paint though. Buffer trails add depth. :nixweiss
