2010 BMW 335i X-drive. I detailed this car last year when it was virtually brand new. A year later, this car is still in fantastic condition thanks to the owner doing a great job of maintaining it. Working on this car and working with this owner has been a real pleasure. Unfortunately that day, the sun never came out and in fact it sprinkled on and off throughout the day. Luckily, I was able to pull it outside for a few minutes to snap some pictures. I have to say, I love the color of the car, especially with the black trim (in place of chrome). Since it is so well maintained, the car received my "Stage I" package.
Tires, wheels, and wells cleaned with Power Clean 3:1
AA on the wheel wells
Wash with ONR
Clay with Meg's Mild Clay
Polish and seal with Griot's Garage 1-Step Sealant via the GG DA and their orange "polishing" pad (Griot's calls it a polishing pad, but it's definitely more of a cutting pad)
Optimum Opti-Bond 1:1 on the tires
Optimum Metal Polish on the exhaust tips
Duragloss AquaWax #951 on the wheels
Glass with Sprayway
The car was very clean upon arrival so no before pictures.
2008 Infiniti G35x Sedan. Customer had me detail this back in 2008 when he first purchased it. He likes maintain it so this is only my 2nd time working on it. His wife uses this car as a daily driver with a commute of probably 40 minutes one way so it sees the occasional automatic car wash. It also had a lot of tiny tar spots all over the bottom half, which was a little time-consuming. Since it does see the car wash on occasion, we opted for my "Stage II" package.
Tires, wheels, and wells cleaned with Power Clean 3:1
AA on the wheel wells
Wash with ONR
Clay with purple aggressive clay
Polished with M205 / Griot's orange pad / Griot's DA (I would have preferred using Opt Hyper Polish but I realized when I arrived on-site that I didn't have enough get the whole car, so I opted for the M205 instead.)
Optimum Opti-Seal to protect the paint
Optimum Opti-Bond 1:1 on the tires
Optimum Metal Polish on the exhaust tips
Duragloss AquaWax #951 on the wheels
Glass with Sprayway
I also worked on the interior a little, but just didn't have good enough lighting to take pictures (black interior, cloudy day). The exterior was pretty dirty but I just plain forgot to take before pics. Here are the afters.
