Im anxious to hear more about CMA's Black Fire layerable sealeant. Does anyone know anything new about it, aside from whats on CMA's web site? Such as results, an expected release date, how it stacks up against Klasse and Zaino?

Let see, on the CMA site it's coming out early November.

And Zaino's FX quick-cure-time product is coming out soon, too. It was supposed to come out the past summer, then September, and then now October.

I guess the FX must be a great product to take so long to sell to the public.

Steve, supposedly the Black Fire will provide more gloss than Klasse and will have the added benefit that you can layer with a much quicker timetable. Sounds great. Like you, I'm curious to hear a few testimonials from some old school senior members. Laters.

years in the making. Sal won't release a product till it's just right, and most of the reasoning behind the samples was so people could apply it on different cars in varying conditions and report results back to him. You guys are gonna love it.........

Is he still developing it, or is he tweaking a 3 year old recipe? The new Joint Task Force fighter jet will be developed in a shorter timeframe.

Could this product give Sal a run for his money? I think it will :)

Sal needs to get up to date with his e-commerce and his way of thinking, or he'll be one of the people ordering his car products from someone else.

Oh, I use Zaino, so I'm not Zaino bashing. I'm just calling a spade a spade!

Some constructive criticism:

I don't mean to nag, but his site does have typos (or did last week). If you learn anything in business, typos are unacceptable. If he can't get simple things like a document done without flaws, how can he guarantee his products? Also, I do not think setting up online shopping on Yahoo or setting up a PayPal account is that difficult. How can you sell something online but not offer credit card purchases? It just seems backwards.

His product I am sure is great, based on all of the devoted fans to the product, and from the pictures that are posted. For people who do not participate in detailing forums though, they may back off from purchasing it once they see the typos and no form of online ordering available. He could be losing valuable business.

P.S.

If there are any typos in this post, sorry. :)

Sometimes people believe a superior product makes up for things like that. I myself was amused by the typos but cannot argue with the results I have seen on many people's vehicles. The interesting thing is the site is 'professionally' done? Oh well..at least the product <em class='bbc'>has[/i] a website, right?;)

haha, LMAO, you guys are too funny.

there's a difference between people that hunt and peck for their keys and people that attempt to type at the speed of light. As a fast typer I go for speed and not for accuracy, guess I just need to work on it.

Uh huh, me make grammaticallll and speeling mistakes too.

But I think for a business website, this isn't good at all. I guess The Wax Test brought Sal's attention.
