Blitz after Klasse

Pics #1 and #2 were taken after a third application of Klasse and then #3, 4 and 5 were taken after two apps of Blitz. I love Blitz for it's price and performance. Sometime, if I ever become a good detailer, I'll probably take a photography lesson. Lately I've just been carrying my camera with me in case I come across that "perfect setting", but then the lighting probably wouldn't be right.

That looks like a fun car. Great shine, did you notice a difference after applying Blitz? Most people say they don't. I thought the Carnauba as a topper to Zaino gave my 850's paint more depth. Volvo has a great paint process. Keep up the good work. :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

Hey thanks Cody, it is a fun car to drive, it's heavily modded, fast and holds the road nicely. I did notice a difference after adding Blitz, it added depth and warmth to an otherwise cold and sterile almost plastic shine. The Klasse and carnuba appear to work good together and compliment each other. I've read different views on Zaino lately as to how the carnuba sits on top of it. Some have either stripped the Zaino and gone with carnuba and some have stripped the wax and stuck with Zaino, depends what you like. I saw your pic with the Zymol, your 850 is a nice red. I might be interested in trading some Klasse SG for your Zymol if you want or can't make a deal otherwise, let me know, I wouldn't mind trading in order to try the Zymol. Keep up the good work yourself, thats a nice red. :xyxthumbs

Hey thanks V4M, that door shot has to be a one chance pic, for me anyway.

For mods I've upgraded the Turbo, the fuel injectors, the throttle body, the fuel regulator, the ECU, the exhaust, the rotors, the engine mounts and strut tie rod. These are some of what I've upgraded and there are a few more but I guess these are the substantial ones, it's a work in progress. Thanks for the compliment but You know, I'm a wagon guy at heart:up

LOL -- wagons aren't as cool looking as the sedans, you don't hear many people saying "Wow! Look at that Volvo wagon!!" -- but I love 'em -- we'll, only volvo ones. It's still a classy looking car and has great versatility.

Did you get those rotors that IPD sells - the power slot ones? I was wondering how they would be.

I'm not very mechanically inclined (DH's department) but I'm interested to learn about some of the upgrades that can be done.

Nice looking Volvo Billyray! I've always been partial to those model of Volvos and find the styling appealing somehow. Looks great too. :up

Just kinda curious, how wide are your tires or how wide can they be? I remember seeing in the past how skinny Volvo tires were (something like 175/xx or something crazy).

Fact of the matter is, I do say that when I see a nice Volvo wagon, this is my fourth and the first sedan. I went out to replace my last wagon and allowed myself to get talked into a sedan;) . I did get my rotors from IPD, I like them and would not go back to stock. They were a good alternative to cross drilled rotors for the street and better than stock. IPD has a lot of time and research into what they sell for Volvo, they are usually the higher priced option but you can trust them and what they sell.

The tires are 215\45\17 Z rated. I could go to 215\40 but anything wider would rub because I've lowered it but 215 is the widest you could go in any case before rubbing occurs.
