Blackfire!

I just ordered my first Wet-Ice over Fire kit (thanks PAC for the father's day deals). I was just reading the info online about applying/using the kit and it seems as if the cure time is relatively long. I was just wondering how you guys that are mobile put that much time into a car to apply this system? Or...do you really need to leave it for 8 hours between coats?

There are sometimes I can't get the 2ND coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond on in under 6hrs due to the weather here in Florida, so I will come back the next day and apply a 2ND coat and tell the customer to let it cure for that awesome wetness that they want. So far I have 100% Happy Customers.

Luckily my central air blow just enough in the basement garage area that it keeps the humidity down. I will most likely follow the rules but I was curious how steadfast the rules are.

I ordered mine yesterday as well!

Can't wait to try it out. :)

I usually wait until the following morning for a second coat. If I got an early start, I may put on a second coat in the afternoon. If I am strapped for time, I will just give the car a really good wash the following weekend and apply a second coat then. Sometime after the second coat the wax will make its appearance. :D
