Review: Blackfire Wet Diamond Waterless Wash Concentrate

Introduction:

I recently received several new Blackfire products to try and test. Unfortunately the weather here has been crappy for me to do any outside detailing. Last weekend we had a round of snow and ice. I finally decided to pull the covers off of some of the cars in the garage and give them a try. I am a huge user of waterless wash sprays. I use them constantly to clean my cars when pulling off and putting my covers back on my garage queens. I have basically graduated from waterless washes from Poorboys Spray and Wipe to HD Free and finally to my favorite Ultima Waterless Wash.

Thanks to Corey and Mike for providing the format on these reviews. .

Observations:

I very nice product to use. Granted I didn’t put this product to it’s full potential by trying it on a dirty car. I basically removed my car cover and used a Cobra micro fiber towel to remove some light dust. The product applied very easily and wiped off with a nice shine. The Blackfire Waterless Wash will certainly compete with the other waterless wash concentrate on the market today.

I have been looking for a water less wash for a while now, seems to work well but a little more dirty car would have been better to see how it works.

Another great review.

Looks like another winner product. I use a fair amount of waterlesses and this just might works its way in.

Thanks for the review Pat. I've been very hesitant to use a waterless wash to clean my car but after doing a lot of QD'ing lately, I think I might end up trying this. I'll probably order the BF and the Meg's one.

Would you use this BF waterless wash on a car that was rained on?

Marc...I don't see why not as long as its not to dirty...

4:1 mix ratio, so is it similar to Optimum Opti-Clean which has a 3:1 mix? Which seems to have a lot of polymers and needs to be completly wiped off or will leave behind a bit of hazing on glass? Please try on glass and see how easily it wipes off.

this has a lot more prouduct used then Ultima WWP+, so I'm guessing that it will not be that cost effective more inline with OOC then the very economical UWWP+.
