Dear Ray, Bob, Todd, Nick, Paul, or Any Other PBMG Person

Is there any active development on the Blackfire line of products? I recall an email from many months ago, about the time the new waterless wash debuted, saying Bob had many things planned for Blackfire. I know Todd moved to RUPES, but what's the state of development for Blackfire?
 
I have a feeling they have some stuff brewing...
I've seen lots of Blackfire freebies recently. And that BOGO style BF sale a while ago. I bought BFCS and got MS spray wax for free in that one.
 
sorry, that's classified, need to know basis. if they tell you, they have to ... :eek:

yeah, blackfire is some of my favorite stuff.
 
I`m wondering if there is going to be some revamp of the entire line soon, with all the sales that have been run on Blackfire.
 
I would like to know this as well.. The BF line has been very silent since Todd and now it seems to be on sale all the time.
 
This is a strange question for me since I can`t really connect the dots with some of the perceptions with BLACKFIRE as far as a lack of new products or an assumption of lack of development. I keep trying to answer this thread and I always end up with a confused look on my face.

Recent new products added to the BLACKFIRE line are BF Crystal Coat Paint Coating, BF Crystal Coat Paint Prep, BF Waterless Wash Concentrate, BF Total Trim and Tire Sealant, BF Midnight Sun Carnauba Spray Wax, New Formula BF SRC Compound, BF Poly Clay (Aggressive), and BF All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant. I might be missing a few new formulas or products/tools. But the speculation honestly just confuses me. I bet if I try hard enough, I can think of other brands that haven`t released any new products or formulas in a long time. :thinking

I think the question is being asked due to the deep discounts on the Blackfire line lately which was similar to how the DP and XMT lines got phased out. I think it`s really only coming up since the merge into McKee`s is so recent, so people are just speculating another possible merge.

That`s what made me wonder about it. I would certainly rather buy BlackFire products on sale though so I`m not complaining!

There are MANY great BlackFire products... I`ll look forward to trying more in the future!
 
Oh ok. Sorry I think my perspective can be different just because I work on this side. But BLACKFIRE isn`t going anywhere.
 
I think im taking the plunge on the 1:48 BF WW concentrate thanks to this sale- that`s a lot of WW I can make!

I really want to see what the difference is with using the WW dilution as opposed to the QD dilution from the RW concentrate

and that Crystal Seal is calling my name too- almost out of Optiseal (took me 3 years to use 8oz!!!)

I don`t mean to treat you like a short order cook, but I would like a BF Interior detailer.:D

I went in big when the line was revamped a few years ago and haven`t found a klinker yet.

I was thinking it was leaning towards going away too. Still not sure if I am wrong or right. Even after our "confirmation"
 
It looks like they may just be getting rid of the 64 oz size, which to me is a strange size anyway. If I like something I just buy the gallon size and be done with it. There were some excellent prices on BF during this last sale.
 
There will be always Blackfire products around ....from it`s Birth at CMA to PBMG, it will continued to grow and also be the only product line that can say...." That it promises to turn heads and create WHIPLASH! ".
