Blackfire Midnight Sun Paste Wax Review Just Half A Test Episode 6 - YouTube

FWIW, I made a ranking of the LSPs I've done so far:

1) Wolfgang Fuzion:_______________Beading 8 Sheeting 3

2) Blackfire BlackICE:______________Beading 8.5 Sheeting 9.5

3) Adam's Americana:______________Beading 8.5 Sheeting 8.5

4) Bouncer's Capture The Rapture:___Beading 9.5 Sheeting 9

5) Poorboy's Natty Paste Wax Blue:__Beading 4 Sheeting 6.5

6) Blackfire Midnight Sun Wax:______Beading 8 Sheeting 8

Roshan, So the number ranking isn't the order of favorites, right? At least not going by your rating numbers.

Nope, no overall ratings, just beading and sheeting.

For example, I like BF Midnight Sun more than Adam's even though Adam's does better beading and sheeting.

That's because the ease of use with midnight sun far exceeds adam's and most other paste waxes. That ease of use outweighs the slightly better beading and sheeting imo, although both paste waxes are great!

I'm having trouble understanding this. How would we know you like MS better than Adam's based on your ratings? Is higher #'s better?

Hey LJSNY,

You are misunderstanding the point of these videos; this video series is not about which wax I like best.

It has a very specific purpose: to test beading and sheeting of different LSPs. No BS, no hype, just plain facts shown on video.

So many people have posted opinions about their favorite waxes that I don't want to add to that. I simply want people to have a library of videos where they can see the beading and sheeting of different LSPs if they want.

I will leave others to talk about which one is the easiest to apply, remove, shines the best, what attributes it may give to the paint, price, smell, etc. Those are all subjective anyhow.

If, however, I do a review on a wax (like I have done on BlackICE), I will talk about some of these things that are important to me and how I feel on the product. However, that info is not the objective of these videos.

Did that make sense?

Its all a personal preference. He is simply rating the beading and sheeding of each wax and not rating them in "his" preference. I'm sure the title would be different if he was doing the ratings as "his" favorites.

just my two cents worth.

Another thing is if I start going into other things, these videos will be 20 minutes long.

For example, tons of people on AG love Fuzion. I'm not a fan. Why? Because in my JHAT video for it, I show that the sheeting on it is absolutely horrible.

Can someone deny that? Nope.

But things they could deny are things like it is the easiest wax to use, shines the most, spreads the most, or removes easiest.

My videos are short and simple and the contents in it can be proven, time after time.

Exactly! :bigups

Bouncer's Capture the Rapture is first in total points right now, but is nowhere near my favorite wax. If it doesn't last more than a month, then it's not a product I want to concern myself with.

I can still show the beading and sheeting of it for those who do care though :)

Roshan,

Ok, I understand the beading and sheeting ratings, I do. Maybe I'm just confused about the numbering of 1-6 in front of each product.

Thanks Roshan,

Larry

That's the episode number that the particular LSP is in.

First episode was Fuzion, second episode was BlackICE, ...
