OK here it goes, I have a 2005 Accord that I compounded/polished about 3 months ago with Oc/Op/Z5x3. IMO the zaino does not have the pop it used to have and after reading some posts about Megs 21 i figured I would give it a shot.

My plan is to ONR/clay then polish the paint with a fine polish and LC white pad just get the paint ready for a coat of 21.

I have been reading about some of the better polishes and blackfire does sound interesting but my understanding is it does not have much cut. Can I use BF to remove zaino and prepare the paint for a new application?

I have some minor marring and imperfections in the paint but it does not warrant a compound but from my experience OP should beable to fix it.

Should i start with OP then go to BF or will BF have enuff cut to get the job done?

Also with the oils in BF affect megs 21's durability?

Blackfire GEP won't remove any defects, it will just hide them.

If you had enough swirls to warrant use of an abrasive polish, I wouldn't use the Blackfire polish alone. For instance, one of my cars needs a little time with some Menzerna FPII. I might follow it up with some Blackfire GEP, but I would not use the GEP only. I think of it as more of a glaze, with some minor cleaning abilities.
