I did a full correction almost 3 months ago, topped it was HardBody, and have just been doing maintenance washes since. I got bored, and wanted to top it with a little added protection this afternoon, so I figured I would give the BFBI a try.

Applying was very easy, went on like butter. Smell wasn't amazing, but not too bad. I'm not a fan of the little ufo applicators, always seem to get my fingers in it.... :wall


Using a hex applicator pad was a lot easier. I let the wax haze while I did the entire car. Then started buffing off. I think I put the wax on too thick in some places, as it was a total pain to get off. Definitely gave my arms a workout. But this is most likely user error. I just wanted to make sure I got a nice even coat, and everything was covered.

After getting it pulled out into the sun, I really love the look of the car. It has a nice warm depth to it. The clarity is amazing. I stood about 25 feet away for one picture, and could still read my shirt. Well, enough blabbering, on to some pictures:

Nice job! I got my hands on some and got to try it out today and just amazing stuff.

Polisher you can use this on other colors. Guys have been posting some great results with it.

Like said above polisher, can be used on other colors. There is a thread somewhere around here that has pictures of only non-black cars.

Just went out to the car this morning, and I was expecting to see a green/yellow film from all the pollen that I usually get after washing the car. There was a little on the hood, but I was very surprised how there isn't hardly any on the rest of the car.

Nice review! BlackICE will not "hold" pollen and dust like oil-based waxes! :bigups

Awesome, I'll have to try them. I just ordered the auto finesse wax mate applicator. They look very promising.

Idk I found it to be grabby and not spread easily. The face of the pad had enough wax on it too. Idk gotta give em another try

I just received my 3oz. can of BlackIce. Is it just me or does this stuff smell like road tare??? It smells not so good compared to my old can of Fuzion. Just sayin.

Yes, it was designed for dark colors but many people have found that it works well on all colors.
