damn you! I have been wanting to try out Z5Pro and Z8 on my tahoe, but figured I could get the same look with what I already have. But that looks awesome and gives great durabilty. I think you just cost me $50.

Wow! Looks fantastic for no polishing or swirl removal!! The Z5Pro is really looking good there too, shows that it has plenty of depth, but all the reflectivity that Z is known for. Outstanding work. :2thumbs:

I really like the new Tahoe style, and I'm considering trading up for it one of these days!

:)

make that $90. can somebody quickly explain the difference between z5pro and z2pro. I know z5 hides swirls. does Z2 look better?

Did you paint your borders on your taillights black?

Wow. The glossy parts are so good that it also kinda highlights the factory orange peel (not your fault nor Zaino's). Great work!

Mike - this vehicle is a year old (22k miles) with no polishing :) It's had Zaino on it 11 out of 12 months, and I've been very careful while washing/drying. When I get the time and space, it's going to get clayed and a round of PO106FF with Z5 Pro x 3.

Beason - those are factory tails. Sorry to spend your money for you :D Z2 Pro has a slightly brighter/glossier appearance while Z5 Pro is a touch deeper/wetter. The differences aren't huge, but they're present. *I* prefer Z5 Pro on all darker colors and Z2 Pro on lighter colors and metallics.

beastie - unfortunately, the orange peel is a bit heavy on all of the newer GM vehicles...especially noticable on black :(

Beautiful work Zane, looks more clear and reflective than it did last summer (or was it the year before?) with Souveran without losing much depth at all. Sealants are getting closer, aren't they? :)

That was exactly a year ago, Scott. Souveran gave it a slight "glow" in certain lights, but the depth, gloss, etc. is very similar with Z5 Pro. Considering the durability and ease of use, I couldn't ask for anything better on this vehicle.

Z5 Pro, ZFX, Z6, and Z8. Even a small package kills the wallet. If it doesnt come out like yours I know where to find you.....

It is a pretty good initial outlay, but those supplies will last you a *long* time when used properly.

Beautiful work Zane!!

I try and I try but my Black truck never looks like that. I polish, too. :wall

Keep posting these wonderful details. Detailers like you make me continue to strive for that perfect shine. I may be a few details away from that look but it is getting better.
