A nice local (ish) car to work on today.
A 37 stage detail with Swissvax Best of Show finish.
8 years of abuse to put right, and to give the new owner something he can enjoy owning and maintaining.
Very tough paint to deal with, after testing, Metabo rotary used with LC Orange pad and a 3:1 mix of Menz FF and 3M FCPlus.
4" SFX1 pad/plate used for tighter area's.
Finished with SFX3 glaze and 3M finishing pad.
Sealed and primed with Carlack NSC.
Waxed with 2 layers of Swiss. BOS.

Washed/dried, clayed with CYC Yellow, pre-warmed -
Initial condition, inspected with light chip light source, and direct sun -
Some 50/50 testing on a very difficult bonnet -
And almost right -
Bonnet done -
On to the rest of the car -
-
Some interior work to be done on a future visit, full leather deep clean etc.
