This car was pretty swirled up as you can see on the pictures.

One good thing is that Toyotas clears are pretty soft :xyxthumbs so you can

correct them without using the rotary. I only used the Top tool with a polishing and finishing pads.

1. Degreased the car first with a tar remover and then with a TFR(trafic film remover)

2. Powerwasher

3. Wash the car using 2 buckets

4. Clayed with sonüs block

5. Wash again and dry with 2 waffle weaves.

6. Top tool with polishing pads and Menzerna PO83RD3.02.

7. Top tool with finishing pads and 3M 800349(extra fine cut -new formula) must say this was very nice to work with!

8. R-2000 paint cleaner with finishing pads. Let it haze for 15min, then wipe off with MF-towels.

9. R-2000 paint sealant with finishing pads.Let haze for 30 min, then rwipe off with MF-towels.

10. Wheels dressed with Concepts Contour tire dressing.

Nope, I hit it with the rotary just to even it out. The rear bumper will be repainted in a couple of months so I didn´t care so much for it.

Yes, certainly is. I take it this is a metallic black - - very tough when the finish has some miles on it.

Youre 1st picture of this series is just excellent...really highlights the wear on the finish.

I hope you charged the owner a lot of Krona !

Looks great!

What is that white stuff on the ground? :chuckle:

A detailed car always looks great with snow on the ground. :2thumbs:

Thanks for the input and feedback!

Yes is a black metallic and it was in pretty bad shape. Didn´t charge him much beacuse the owner was one of my best friends step father and I know that he will get me some customers if he would be happy with his car(and he was very happy). Charged him $200 but normaly I would take ~$270. And I forgot that I sealed the windows with Res-bonas nano glass treatment. Like aquapel but more durable.

And I must say that the machine(top tool) is a very effective polisher and that Menzerna PO85RE3.02 takes out the swirls very quick and gives a good surface, one a light coloured car it wouldn´t be necessary to use a finer polish.

Sorry no full car shoots, the customer was waiting :(

very nice de-swirl, hope you cleaned them badges too :D

Yes, I did. It doesn´t look so nice with a clean car and crappy bagdes. But I must say that I almost forgot it :nervous:
