Black SL500

Ok I don't post much on here so I decided to show off one of my latest details. The car is a Mercedes SL500 which is a beautiful car both inside and out. I was very impressed with the fit and finish on the car and it was a blast to drive. The detail took be about 18 hours to do with all the work done by hand. When I first did a quick look over the car it seemed to be in good shape but when I drove it into the garage and under the florescent lights the real truth came out.

Here are some before pictures:

Overall not to bad until I get it inside...

And the dirty engine bay!

The car took me longer then I originally planned for but I think the overall final product turned out good.

Afters:

Inside (I was not finished in this picture I still needed to do the wheel wells and tires)

And finally the engine bay!

This was one of the harder jobs I have done but the client really like the final product which makes it all worth the time and effort!

Nice shine in the afters...

Do you have any after shots under halogens or in direct sun? I find it hard to believe that anyone could remove paint defects by hand on the new Ceramic Clear Coats. Not trying to bash, I am just curious.

Here are two that I got, I wish I would have taken more... Also As you can see in the pictures there are some small light swirls but I believe it was more due to my mf towels then anything else. I have just ordered some new towels and some zaino products to try out.
