It was just the first pass. It still has smaller imperfections thats hard to see in the pictures, but did a second pass to clean them up (I didnt take pictures for the 2nd pass though because I was too lazy to use the camera.)

Z5 curing on paint

There was an etching on the car that could not be repaired (last picture).

I let the Zaino cure for about 30 something hours, and I decided to add another layer of Zaino, but decided to be a litle more experimental. I decided to put a layer of Collnite 845 instead, so here are the after pics of the 845. The car frequents the rainy and salty areas on our beautiful island of Hawaii, so I was just wondering how a Z5 base and Collnite 845 topper would handle it.

It looks better in person though!

I was looking to get some compliments and all I get is constructive criticism. haha, but thats good too.

No it is not duct tape. I would never put that on the car, it is 3m automotive paint tape!

Well I added some more pictures to the end of the first post so check them out.

I like to use products like Hawaiian island shine or MX7 to get the water spots out. But some water spots are so deep that you will need to correct the paint with polishing or compound.

It is the Griots R/O. Veryy good machine!
