Black Mercedes ML 350 - Not able to remove deep swirls

I tried detailing this car with a yellow pad Lakewood pad and Menzerna Power gloss. I can't seem to get the swirls out.

Do I need to use something more aggressive? I'm thinking or buying a wool pad and using power gloss on it.

Yay or Nay?

You may want to re-review you process... What size pads? If they are 6.5", you may want to step it down to something smaller, 5.5" to 3.5-4" pads.

Power Gloss is aggressive, it is probably not fully breaking down and leaving it's own micro-marring. Regardless, a finishing step or two is required after using Power Gloss, the darker the color, the more fine defects/imperfections WILL stand out until properly addressed.

Less is MORE! Start with a lesser aggressive polish, don't know what you have though. With a Porter Cable (or similar), the KBM (Kevin Brown Method) is your friend. You really need to provide in depth details of your steps, products and tools used or available at your disposal. I'm sure someone else will chime in.
