Black Mercedes Benz CLK230 and Red Ford Thunderbird

It's been awhile but I'm trying to catch up. I haven't been taking enough pictures of the details but I've been pretty busy. Here are two of the latest that I actually took pictures of.



Here is an 01 SLK 230 that I did over the past two days. Pictures turned out funny but it really did look amazing.



Process:

Wash with Foamgun + Schmitt

Clay

Menzerna SIP via LC Yellow @ 1900 RPM (X2 on the hood and trunk)

Menzerna 106FF via LC White @1700 RPM

Pinnacle Souveran by hand

Alright this was just a short maintenance detail. Car still has light swirls but looks good. There were some scratches on the back bumper + paint transfer but came out quickly with the rotary + 4" pads. I believe this is fairly soft paint but I didn't really work on the whole car.

Great correction work and pictures! I know how hard it is to get Clear coated non-metallic black done right (VERY HARD LOL) but you pulled it off! Both vehicles appear to have excellent depth and shine!

Nice work Andrew. I hear you on the pictures - I don't even take pictues anymore. And itsn't it amazing what people let happen to their black rides...never ceases to floor me. But it always make for a good turnaround!
