Does wheel cleaner effect the brake discs? It's basically degreaser right?

I used Black Magic wheel cleaner on my wheels and now have that brown/yellow water spots of rust or whatever on the discs.............of course once i use the brakes i'm pretty sure they dissapear, but should i be worried about this?

thanks

You should not be worried about this, if you have not replaced your rotors (discs) which good grade steal ones or you have car most of us have - not supper expensive one :) rotors are made of uncured steal they will rust in are where brakes are touching it no matter what you spray your wheels with - anything that causes oxidation. Spray rotors with water and give it 20 minutes you will see :) and don't worry :woohoo:

I had used the Black Magic Scrub-Free, but I realized something about it--IT SUCKS :grrr ! It really doesn't do much (Scrub-free is false advertising, they should call it "gets wheels about 30% after scrubbing"), so I'm surprised you even removed enough dirt from the rotor to uncover the rust. It isn't cheap either. Don't worry about anything happening due to the wheel cleaners.
