I got to detail this quick Mach1 today. Even though I'm a Chevy man, this is really nice car. This particular one has some nice mods that help it run 13.5's @ 5000'+ DA (which would be around 12.5's at sea level). Other than moderate swirling, it was in great shape.



Interior Process:

Vacuum

Meguiar's Interior QD



Exterior Process:

Simple Green in wheel wells

NXT wash

Zaino Clay with NXT lube

Poorboy's SSR 2.5 w/ light cutting pad (some micro-marring left behind)

Klasse AIO w/ polishing

Zaino Z5

Zaino Z8

Zaino Z16 on tires

Stoner's IG on glass

I've never noticed any appreciable gains topping Zaino. In this case, the customer requested durability.
 
Looks great Zane but, you missed the gas tank cover ;) Looks like it needs some dressing. It is really visible in that shot of the rear.



I am hoping to break out the Zaino and give it another shot on my GT. I just have to find the time, things have been really hectic as of late. I am really anxious to try out the Fusion I just got as well as the Z2Pro that has been sitting on my shelf for a while.
 
That is "Mach Daddy's" car...I have spoken with him on SVT Performance; he helped me with the install of my hood pins on my Mustang.



Beautiful work on that machine...I love that car!

Well, those pics make me look forward even more to my first Zaino purchase when I visit the folks in MA later this month!! BEAUTIFUL!!
 
that looks nice, did you notice the clear on most fords is pretty hard well i thought it was. i tried everything with the pc then the rotory and still didnt get all the swrils out. another thing is i wonder if anyone ever cleans the under piece that looks like its a gas tank of some sort. i wonder if dressing it would make it look any nicer... Those MT drags look nice!!
