Black grit and some white stuff

are on my car. The boilerhouse at the chemical plant I work at spewed some coal dust and white ash onto my car. The coal dust/grit comes right off with a gust of air but the white coal ash is adhering to the paint. Now I will get to find out how hard this stuff will be to remove. My car has 5 coats of Natty's and 3 coats of EX-P on it. It's pouring down rain so I'm hoping this will wash the ash off. If not I'll start with a wash then proceeed accordingly.I'll keep you posted if anyone is interested. Rick

A buddie of mine works at a Factory and had a bunch of bad fallout ash adhered to his paint. A good wash and a thourough claying got it all off. The intitial washing and claying took about an hour and half and then I followed up with another wash just to make sure it was all off.

Hmmm.. sounds like this might happen more than once. If so, I would have the Finish Kare decontamination wash system on hand. I'd wash with it whenever you want to renew your LSP. Whatever contamination that could still be left behind ( not necesarily easily visible), can reactivate, especially with the rain, will be dissolved with the system.

A follow up on my dirty car. Used Pinnacle BodyWork Shampoo today and the white stuff is still on my car. Looks like this weekend I'll either clay and or polish my vehicle.
