Black Friday Deals?

Anyone find anything worth buying yet? I must been getting 3-5 "Black Friday Starts Now!" type emails per day from Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy...

Angus, I have those exact ones I bought for a one-off project. Just needed something functional and cheap. They did great for what they are - you hit the nail on the head. As long as you don`t expect them to be as stable as metal ones, they work great.

I`m trying to be good this black friday and not buy anymore crap for myself. Won`t be easy, never is...lol.

So far I bought a new dishwasher for the house was "$449" on BF sale for $299 and then found a 40 off $200 coupon that worked. On the lookout for a 40-43 TV and a new shop vac. Maybe some new carpet for the living room.

Detailing wise, I`ve got a few things I`d like to pick up, just waiting for the AG 25%+free ship deal and I`ll probably cave. Need some APC, D143, might get UTTG+ and some Tuff Shine.

I am new to this forum, what kind of sales has Autopia had on past BF?

I have been getting the emails too. I don`t need nothing, but will be at my keyboard Thanksgiving night. Sometimes even if you ain`t in the market for something, it`s hard to pass up a killer deal.

Detailing wise, I am looking to score some PA products.

Cool! Thanks, Nick. Glad to hear you have them and like them for what they are. I could actually use them right now for some baseboard I`m painting prior to installing it. Maybe I`ll run out later and get them ;)

It`s so hard to pass up a good deal... Sounds like you scored a few sweet ones already too!

You can`t go wrong with 25% off and free shipping on all the detailing products you mentioned. I just started using D143 and am very impressed with it. Exceptional value as well.

Welcome!

Typically they`ll have a 20-25% sale and free shipping. PA makes GREAT products. But man are they $$$. You`re wise to wait for a good sale.

Thanks Angus, that`s what I wanted to hear. A couple weeks ago Autopia had a 25% with $4.95 shipping, and I bought some core PA items, after reading up on their products, I want more!

The key to really mopping up the floor is to combine sale prices with 25% off and free shipping. Both AG and Autopia warm up the deals, but don`t be fooled, the best deals really are on BF and Cyber Monday. Autogeek posts spoilers up in their forum too. One thing to think about though is what you want to buy now, some things don`t take freezing temps well and depending on where you are could get frozen by the time they get to you.

Thank you Dan! I appreciate it, I live in Southern Michigan, yes I keep that in mind. And yes I know exactly what I am after. Two things I don`t order after the beginning of December, detailing products (liquids), and bowling balls. Extreme temps cause the cover and core to separate.

Lol that`s the exact same project I used them for.

This is neat idea:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Defiant-360-Degree-Pivoting-LED-Light-2-Pack-16FL0706/301753475

I can see attaching it to my rolling creeper seat when I need a light angled just so.

Those look cool. I wonder if that is a soft or hard switch. I really detest some of the cheaper lights that drain batteries while sitting in a drawer. For those looking for a crazy flashlight at a great price, I picked up one of these:

https://www.gearbest.com/led-flashlights/pp_44144.html

I have now learned that there such a thing as a flashlight that is too bright. Thankfully it has a dimmer 5% mode.

I will lookout for a good deal on a new pressure wash. My is to ineffective and want more waterflow kärscher k7 or k5. Maybe a kränzle if the price is right or a nilfisk.
Then if there is somethings I already use or have to use lol and the price is right then it`s gonna be hard to resist.

Make sure you think that through a bit. After getting a new crappy PW every few years I went big on an AR Blue 610. Guess who is using a $60 pressure washer again?

Heh heh, I continue to resemble that remark :D

For detailing, or for other stuff as well? Just wondering as I`ve found I don`t need *nearly* as much power/flow as I always thought I did. You need whatever you need, but I`m curious...
