Black Ford F350

I ordered my Menzerna IP and FP and they arrived late this afternoon so I had a chance to test them out. I also ordered 3 white and 3 Gray CCS 5.5 pads. My truck looks real good after a wash out in the sun..... but once I got it in the garage under the halogens... well let me say it looked real bad. The IP with the white pads got rid of the swirls like it was nothing. Applied with the UDM. The previous owner must have taken it thru the car wash all the time. There are a lot of linear scratches left, all superficial. I am debating if I should attack them with the SIP and the orange pad... Here are some pics. I will post more when I am done.

Once I get the FP layer I will do a IPA wipedown and top with S100.

Any suggestions would be great too!!! Thanks

Only suggestion I have is to keep at it. You still have a looooooong ways to go there. But you're definatly getting some improvements. Probably should step up to a more aggressive pad/product combo to get those deeper defects out. I don;t personally use SIP or that line up so I have no idea what's the next "more aggressive" compound/polish in their line up.

I am thinking about using Poorboys Black hole to cover up the rest of the scratches, atleast until I decide to attempt a more aggressive pad/product combo.

I really like PB's Black Hole. It does a real nice, quick job in concealing spider webbing and other isolated scratches. Good turnaround on your truck.
