Black Explorer

Hello all!

Although I haven't posted much, I've been reading the forums on DC for sometime now. I come to everyone with a question:

I'm going to detail my recently purchased 2000 black Eddie Bauer Explorer. The paint is in pretty good shape, however, I really want to make it pop. What is everyone's opinion on the best combination of products to use on a black vehicle? I know everyone has different ways, and I just want to see what some of yall have found to work the best.

Thanks,
Aric

Hey Aric,

Just down the road from you a bit. We visit friends at West Georgia all the time :bigups

If you really want a popping shine, consider a glaze, then a liquid carnauba or sealant, and finally, a paste wax.

Thanks to all for your suggestions. Just wondering so I can get more of a feel: would yall happen to have pictures of a black vehicle and what it looked like after you did the steps that you recommended? If not, that's fine, just thought I'd check!

Thanks Again!

Aric
