Black Clearcoat Routine

How is this routine for Black:



Wash with Meguiars Gold Wash

Clay with Clay Magic Blue Bar or Mothers Yellow Bar

Re-wash Car

3M Swirl Mark Remover then 3M Hand Glaze

2 Coats of Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba or Mothers Pure Carnauba



Opinions appreciated.
 
Sounds fine. Just make sure you use the SMR before the glaze and not the other way around.



btw, the routine doesn't really change all that much between clearcoated/non-clearcoated and between different colours. You just have to be extra-careful with black :)
 
True. Black needs mucho extra attention and care.

And dont be surprised if there is some uneveness after applying hte caranuba. Just forget it. It will even out after a couple washes.

can SMR go over the entire car? my swirls are getting fierce over the whole thing, so i can do the whole car as needed, right?
