black civic correction

had a huge write up for this but i accidentally hit refresh :angry

so heres the basics



free detail for a friends mom



1 step - 60-70% correction soft honda paint



new bumper that was already damaged again from metal pipe



neglected paint; swirls, rids, oxidation, etc.





paint:

2bm gold class

mothers clay (yellow)

pb pws w/ ssr2.5 splashed white 5.5" pad

collinite 476s



wheels/tires:

2bm gold class

simple green 3:1

AA tire cleaner

nascar tire shine (good stuff)



tools:

lows grout sponge

porter cable 7424

tons of sam's MFs

3 vroom drying towels

various brushes

canon rebel xti





befores:

no lsp at all

hologram on bumper

some 50/50s: (even though they're not 100% i think they're good)

lthats polish all over; hot polish bottles burst when you open them, lol

Afters:

my buddy dressed the tires

my buddy did a good job on the interior for no previous detailing experience

couldn't get all the pipe damage out - it was past the paint, but it's less now

also, im a retard so i deleted like 1/2 of all my finished pictures...all the direct sun shots of the whole car. they were by far the best ones :angry:angry:angry
