Alright well I would have to say this is my first "mobile job" I went to the business, parked my car and got ready for a day of detailing! This is my friends Chevy Silverado, dont know the year sorry..but relatively new. Car was washed this morning by him so this was the process:
Optimum Compound/Polish on Meguiars Cutting Pad
FPII on Meguiars Polishing Pad
Final Polish wiped off with OCW
FK1 Pink Wax
OCW on Windows
Armor All in wheel wells
Bold N' Bright on Tires
Klasse AIO on Chrome
Poorboys Trim Restore on Trim
Poorboys Wheel Sealant on Wheels
Tires and wheel wells were cleaned with Amazing Roll Off
Final wipedown with FK1 #1000 Sealant Glaze
I'd say the truck came out with about 98% of the swirls gone. I was very impressed with FPII!! It got rid of micromarring hazing very easy...Worked it too fast to begin with and got no results, then started going slower with it and I was good to go!
For my first mobile job...I got plenty of looks from other guys working in the area in their shops..Even had one guy ask if I could come look at his new Chevy Colorado - had a bunch of tar and contaminants, he left for 5 minutes, I took some clay and klasse and cleaned it right up for him! I gave him my card when he returned and told him I would finish it off for him if he would like!
Befores: The first one was taken in the garage...Shows the swirls the best without the reflections outside...the truck was covered in these swirls
