Been a busy past week or so with black vehicles. First off was my buddies black Monte Carlo SS
This daily driver had seen better days but I knew with a bit of work I could get it back to a nice state. Among the road rash and deeper scratches there was tons of holograms and swirls that needed serious attention. We agreed on a 2 step and IGL Poly 1 year coating.
Wash/Prep- Foamed and washed with Hyper wash, Clayed with Nanoskin Handy towel
Engine bay- Cleaned with LATA and dressed with Hyper dressing
Wheels/Tires- Wheels are dipped black so I just used some soapy water and brushes, Tires have white letter paint so soapy water and then dressed with Hyper dressing
Correction- Boss G21, Meg microfiber cutting pads, Fast correcting cream/ Adams swirl killer mini with 3in megs pad
Finish polish- Boss G21, Rupes yellow pad, Hyper polish, Adams swirl killer mini 4in rupes yellow pads

Next on the list was a brand new 2018 Silverado with 370 miles on the clock. He wanted to get off on the right foot and get his new daily driver protected. This truck being black had some swirls and defects.
Wash and prep- foamed and washed with hyperwash, Nanoskin handy towel
Wheels/Tires- Mckees foaming wheel cleaner gel/ Hyper dressing
Correction- Some areas got a 2 step with Mckees FC717/microfiber cutting pad followed with Menzerna PF2500 on a Rupes Yellow pad. The other areas only needed a one step with Menzerna PF2500.
LSP- IGL Kenzo premium 4yr coating
Next was a 8k mile Shelby GT500 that I have done in the past. The paint got a one step with Menzerna PF2500/ Rupes Yellow pad on a BOSS G21. Topped with IGL Premier silica based sealant. Interior got cleaned up with Mckees Total interior cleaner, Mckees 70/30 leather shampoo and mckees carpet and upholstery cleaner
