Is it perfect? Not quite... haha, BUT! it's a great improvement and a good learning experience. anyway, just showing off the little i've got! let me know what you think. Nothing but Meguiar's was used, the professional line. I used a clay-magic clay bar, followed up with the meguiar's swirl remover, show car glaze, and hi-tech yellow wax. Hit the wheels with Prestone wheel cleaner and Wet-N-Black on the wheels. Thanks for checkin it out!

PS the entire detail involved using the cheap buffing pad it came with. I ordered the edge pads online but they didn't show up in time, and I had to do it on this particular day... so i just washed it between use. I still think it was pretty good stuff, i can't wait to use my new pads though! haha.

first three pictures are BEFORE pictures, last ones are after.

Nice work! Looks to me like you'd have needed the more agressive pads to get much more than you already did. Not to worry, it'll get even better!

well howdy! haha, YES i know about the more aggressive pads i have them now!!! but, what is done is done. i'm going to do my explorer (in the background of one of the pictures) with the new pads and see how it turns out. Thanks for the kind words, fellas!

PS love the boards been reading for a while now.

I think you really did a KILLER job, and I don't want to be the sore thumb here, but I wouldn't ever use the stock pad again. It doesn't do you justice. True, the finish does look awesome, and it seems that you have some leathal PC skillz, but the stock white pads leave too much micromarring for me, the stock pad does have its uses on glass tho!

i didn't want to use the stock pad to begin with!!! the pads i ordered just didn't show up when i expected, and i promised him i'd do his detail that day, so thats that. but i'm now the proud owner of some edge pads, so i'll post my next detail up, too :) no - keep being the sore thumb - i take criticism very well and need it!

thanks again guys i'm lovin it!

and what do you use the PC on glass for? (is that an amateur question? haha)

Sometimes, if a vehicle is very neglected, it may have water spotting on the glass that is so much, and so bad, that you cant remove it with the usual vinegar, steel wool, ect. But, if you take the PC to it with some AIO or some other inexpensive polish, it will make the glass look like new! I was simply amazed that you was able to that the with the stock pad, a lot of people have have some pretty bad luck with it. I think you'd be wicked with those edge pads, and I can't wait to see some more details!
