Black 32 Ford detail today..Come inside for pics

Today I detailed a Black 32 Ford. Great car, but the paint did need a little TLC. Started out at around 8:00 am. Took a break for lunch from 1:00 to 2:00. Finished up at about 5:30. I stopped durring the way to take pleanty of pics, so that might have slowed me down a bit.

The owners main focus was the hood and trunk, the trunk in particuliar, so I spent some extra time in those areas. Here is the process.

Sonus sfx 2 with sonus das green pad

7 complete times on the trunk

5 complete times on the hood

1 complete time everywhere else

Sonus paintworks cleanser with sonus das blue pad

After all was said and done the car looked amazing. The flames appeared to float above an endless pool of black. The reflection and clarity was amazing. The car looked much better and the owner was thrilled.
 
Nicely done.



This weekend, I too did a Zaino detail of my own ride -- black 96 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet.



That stuff is AMAZING!

Damn, I need to get my hands on some Zaino! This is two black vehicles I've noticed in one night where Zaino produced reflectivity unmatched by any other product. It's too bad the SH** cost so much to ship.

Sweet. I am producing a show were we are refurbishing a 32 Ford. We have the body and suspension, all original. Even the brakes, engine block and trans are all original. Of course we are refubishing and derusting every single piece, and then it will have to be painted. We are chosing a SS solid Black paint. My part you ask? I'll be doing a Zaino detail and that's it, lol. We wanted to do a 29 but couldn't find an original car, so we went with the 32. it will be a while before I can post pics, maybe even a year on this one because we are going with all original equipment.
 
Why does it cost so much to ship ? Zaino ZFX+Z2pro+Z7+Z6+1 applicator only would cost $8.95 to ship to Ohio from ZainoBros store
 
Outstanding prep work! Those were some pretty serious swirls in the paint. Fun cars to do, though, I detailed an orange one about a year and a half ago.
 
Did you use a rotoary at all or just a PC? What speed did you use? I'm thinking about getting a pc and need all the tips possible. Looks unreal!
