You will find pics of my 2007 Black Mustang GT. She is new with 3K miles.



Process :

- wash : touchless Laserwash 4000

- dry : the Absorber

- detail : DG AW x2 with Meguiars MF towels



Very sleek finish !

Gotta love a clean black vehicle! But when its a Mustang GT it brings a big ole grin to my face!

The fan blades look great too! The car looks awesome!!! Congrats on the new Mustang GT!! Get you a programmer and a cold air induction!!!

Aquawax does look amazing on your GT Khoi. Do be careful with the Absorber, maybe look into some WW towels. The new wheels are a big improvement over the polished ones you see on most 05-06 GT's. They really do set the car off nicely.
 
That paint looks real wet :goodjob . You should also try using AW on your rims, it really prevents brake dust from sticking to the rims..

I do try to be careful with the Absorber, I do not wipe with it, just lay it flat. Next step is to buy some WW, but could not find good WW locally except maybe Meguiars... (which is not that great as I read ?).



Still undecided regarding the Zaino bandwagon.. those products seem great but not cheap !!! :wow:

You cant go wrong with zaino, I personally would wait until the new Zaino prodcuts are out (ZAIO and Zcs)

I think Meguiar's WW is good for the price. May not be the most absorbent out there, but it works fine, and one or two will easily dry the car.

OK, finally decided to try Zaino. I bought Z5pro + Z6 and applied 2 coats today.



Results vs Aquawax (I know, 2 very differents products) :

- Second coat of Z5 made a big difference. I find that depth is much, much greater than Aquawax, ease of use is obviously much less, even Z6 on its own which is slightly harder to wipe out than Aquawax.

- Shine is higher with Aquawax



Overall I found than Aquawax on its own bring high shine, sleekness but not so much depth, whereas Z5 x2 brings what I would call a "deep, dark glow".



Overall I think Zaino is a very good product, still quite expensive, and Aquawax at $5 a bottle has an absolutely outstanding price performance ratio.



Will probably try a 3rd coat of Z5 in a few days.
