Black 2007 Caddie Escalade

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
Today I detailed a black 2007 Cadillac Escalade which I have not touched in the past 9 months. The owner is a good friend of mine and an avid automobile enthusiast himself. This is his daily driver, and his employees (construction company) have been “handwashing” the car for him since the last time it was detailed. I am sure that they are giving their best effort to “scrub” the finish clean each time its washed. I am also sure, that I will need to set aside an afternoon sometime soon to give a class in proper handwashing !!! :wall

Needless to say I spent the better part of 4 hours buffing the exterior to remove most of the wash scratches and used the following:

Claybar
Buff with Metabo + Green Edge pad + Hi temps Heavy Cut Leveler
Buff with Metabo + White Edge final finish pad + 3M Finesse It
Sealed with Meguiars #21

bigron62,

Love the Metabo. Its is so lightweight, and the motor is silky smooth and quiet. A very refined machine.

It may be helpful for your back due to its weight.

Great job as always...black looks fantastic.

I am thinking about the Metabo too... I have the PC 7428 and its so heavy that after awhile you just get tired of holding it.

One of my all time favorite vehicles. I love the GM leather seats. I really do not like the trim on the box though.

Installed swirls are a bane. Good job of knocking most of them to the curb. Love the Black!!!!!

Damn man...I wish my black Mariner looked this good!!! Wanna give me some lessons!

Very nice job! One of the best looking black vehicles I've seen in a while!!!
