First C&B post and wanted to show off the Mercedes. Don't see a lot of these here.

Car is one of my rental cars and has some light surface marring from renters, mostly on trunk, has 1 deep scratch on front right fender from curb (ouch), (no pix), but basically in good shape. Some long term renters do their own "washing" and not to my specs, so have to make up for it.

Process:

Wash - Wool mitt, Turtlewax ICE, hand wash paint surface, 2 buckets, rinse mitt after each panel, hand on outside, waffle towel dry & blow dry all cracks (I use a dedicated leaf blower) (No water on car when goes into shop)

Prep - clayed using Meqs quick detail, taped off all body molding, lights, windows etc...

Polish - Car had light swirls, no scratches or marring. It's only a year old. Living in CO, I use local products, Prima from Detailers Paradise.

Prima-Finish, PC w/orange pad.

Wax - Prima - Epic, PC applied on #2, hand rubbed with MF.

That's it. Elbow grease and good procedures.

Finish Shots - Around my shop, so reflections aren't spectacular homes or anything, just buildings & sky, and it was 9 am, with light sunshine.

Thanks all - I love black and this car really shows it off. Mercedes paint doesn't hurt. This was the first polish on this car and we mostly wanted to remove the swirls.
