Bissel & Woolite Solution

What ratio is being used when a Woolite/water solution is being used in the Little Green Machine? I'm starting to find the store bought solutions a little $$ up here.

TYIA. BTW I did a search but came up with a billion things to wade through.

I use Resolve Traffic Lane Cleaner at 32:1 or spray it on and scrub, following up with hot water and 1 oz fabric softener to rinse. Never used Woolite cause it foams too much. I know there are many who use it 10:1 to clean interiors, but IDK about in the LGCM, sorry...

After being low on my regular carpet pretreat i bought some Bissell Tough stain remover pretreat. Very impressed with it. It even took out some mild rust stains in some carpet.

I only use a very mild solution in my machine, i find that the pretreat is usually all that is needed.

So 10:1 is the right ratio .... I have tonnes of Woolite and I'm not interested in the OTC solutions right now. Matter of fact they are near impossible to find up here.

10:1 for surfaces from a sprayer, I wouldn't recommend that much in the machine it will foam and possible damage the motor if you don't add a defoamer to the tank. The resolve TLC is from Lowe's at $16 per gallon and mixes 32:1. If anything, I'd use an APC as a pretreat, scrub, then just use hot water in the Bissel to extract.

Any APC you'd recommend for carpet? Would Duragloss 401 APC work well, or is there an APC more geared for carpet?

BioKleen's Traffic Lane Cleaner. About $24 a gallon, 32:1 dillution ratio.

I never found using a solution in the Bissel to be of much help really. I always use it just with water to soak up the solution that I put down for pre-soak and scrubbing.
