Big Thanks To Harleyguy!

I've been wanting to post this for a while, but I was hoping to get the detail done on our XC90 first, so I had some pics to post, but things haven't worked out around the house. Anyway, I was contacted a while back by Harleyguy and he said he noticed that I was a Volvo guy and more specifically an R guy and he had something I might be interested in. I believe he works at a Volvo dealership and he had, in his possession, the package that Volvo sent the dealerships upon the launch of the R, back in 04 and wanted to know if I wanted it. Well, of course I wanted it and asked him how much it would take to get it from him. He actually wasn't looking to make money on it and was offering it to me for nothing, which was awesome. So, I gave him my address and told him to let me know what I owe for shipping, again, he wouldn't take money!!

Anyway, I got this package and have to say, it's something REALLY COOL to have as an R guy. Just to see what they were telling the dealers as it came out and the information package and photos is really, really cool.

Again, I just wanted to give Harleyguy some props on here for doing this for me and I think it just speaks to what type of posters we have on here at TID.

Thanks again man, I really appreciate it and I have it proudly displayed here in my office.

My pleasure anytime should of posted some pictures LOL.I may not be able to help with paint correction as well as someone like Angelo Or Todd but i have plenty of other areas i can help others with.And thats what's nice when you belong to a forum that allows helping others.:thumbup:

Back at you Dana for a guy i haven't had the pleasure to meet yet we have become pretty good friends and dana also goes out of his way to help plenty of people on alot of forums.Hats off
 
Haven't got to try the infamous cookies yet. But I can attest to Adams kindness, he sent me a CD from GM.

Boy did you nail it there Todd.Thanks for all the nice replys from everyone maybe someday we can all get together if we can talk todd into holding a detailing class along with Angelo and i bet i could even talk Dana into joining the fun.And if that ever happens i will make sure no weapons are allowed in.LOL
