Hi everybody.

Just wanted to let you guys know about some of the stuff I saw at Big Lots today.

1000w Dual Halogen work lights, $20.00. It's too good of deal to pass up so I bought it!

5hp wet dry vac $60. I think it's remanufacutured but still a good deal.

Karcher 1400psi pressure washer $60 I think it looked something like this but I'm not too sure:

Karcher pressure washer w/ the Honda generator thingy $250

similar to this:

Some generators and more shop vacs. There was something else interesting too. A Mr. Clean trim protectant. Never seen it before or heard of it but for $1.50 I'll try it.

From what I remember there was also the usual Long Haul gloss spray as a good clay lube for $3.50 for 28oz and a whole lot of NASCAR based products and some NXT Tire foam. Just a heads up for you guys. I think it's a good deal or it's at least worth checking out. Especially the Halogens. After all it's only $20.

I picked up the last Megs wheel brush for $3.99. I pick up a lot of detailing supplies from Big Lots. It typically only costs a buck or two to try something new. Here's what I've obtained over the past year or so:

Turtle Wax Platinum Ultra Glass (great)

SS Nathans Polish (easy on, easy off, doesn't dust or stain trim, OK results)

The Wax Shop Cleaner Wax (tried it on one panel, but can't remember the results?)

Wax Shop Alluminum Polish (OK)

SS Nathans Bug Blast (worked great)

SS Nathans APC (OK)

SS Nathan Tire Cleaner (not so OK)

Zymol QD (I think it's good for the price)

Black Magic QD (haven't tried yet)

Black Magic Wheel Wipes (any wipe would clean a wheel -- you still have follow with clean/dry towel)

Meguiars NXT Tire Cleaner (haven't tried yet)

Black Magic Tire Shine (OK)

..and for the garage:

PB Blaster Garage Door Lube (works great)

Yeah, I bought the 1000w halogen light stand over the holidays. It works and great deal for $20 bucks. I mean you see a big difference with the $60+ models. But for $20, who cares. My wife did notice our electric bill was pretty high for December/January/February. I don't know hun? We have to watch our drying machine usage more closely - tongue in cheek.
