So I stripped my car down on monday jeweled it with SRC Finishing polish and put BFWD on it. Strangest thing ever happen, So I left my car outside last night in a big rain storm to see how well BFWD would beed water by its self with no topper. Here's the suprise the water was completely flat on my paint it was like there was no wax on it at all.... So I went goto the shop this morning and sprayed the car down and same thing completely flat.... No beeding what so ever? Anyone ever seen this? Did I do something wrong? I know I didn't IPA the car after SRC Finishing but I was under the impression you could got SRC straight to BFWD.... Opinions?

I take it this was not the first time you used this bottle, do you have any other cars near by that got a application from the same bottle? Try spraying water on them and see what happens.

I blame all that bass in the jeep :rockon

Lol bass breaks polymers :P And great ideal D! I'll test it on another car

That's really strange that there was no heading. Even if something prevented it from bonding it would have at least lasted a little while. It should have made it though one rain

Update so I tryed this on someone else's car and yesterday it was beeding up in my test spot, Today it flat.... There is no way a little rain is taking off BFWD that easily... I have customer cars I did out of the same bottle months ago that are still beeding. I wonder what happen to it?????? :dunno:

I know you said you shook it but I read a thread about a month or so ago (not sure if I had done a search to find it) but anyway someone else had posted about separation of the product and a took real vigorous shaking to get it mixed, I mean a lot. It sounded like some of the ingredients settled into the bottom of the bottle. Maybe try doing some kind of search for it. Maybe that will help answer your question.

Dean.

Guys I think it was a random fluke as I took the bottle taped it my flex(just to ensure it was shakin to the max) and its fine on my car now. So maybe it just need to taped to the bottom of a flex on speed 6 for 2 min straight to ensure proper shaking :rockon
